Nothing was straightforward at work today. By the end of the day my faith in both man and machines was low. However it soon picked up again when I got home.

Me and Fiona left early to go get Charlie from Cubs. I drove down a road that I've passed every day and have always wondered where it leads. I stopped and took this photograph of east Edinburgh sloping down from Arthur's Seat to the Forth. We became slightly late in arriving to pick up Charlie, but fortunately Cubs were even later in letting them out.
