Bruce was competing in Walsall today at a re-run of the British Championship plus a Russian and the Irish champion so a tough group.

After a bye in the first round, he was disqualified in the second (Hansoku Make) for throwing his opponent forward onto their front. Luckily he got another chance in the fight for bronze medal, but was, in my opinion, illegally arm-locked into submission.

Ah well, always next time
