First Bear

Strictly speaking, first Elephant. This book is about the first bear and how the Great Bear (ie Ursa Major) sent him to Earth to comfort a lonely child etc etc etc. The Elephant has been with us nearly ten years, ever since his owner was born. His owner still takes him to bed at night despite his age and gender. The elephant is doing his job just now as his owner's Mum has been in hospital these last two days getting an operation on her foot. We all miss her in our own ways, but this elephant's boy is the one who seems to need the most comfort just no, so it's handy he has his elephant at nights.
