The end of the rainbow

After the speech thing, last night, we went down to Avanti for some food and drink. At some point I found myself declaring that Pixar haven't made a bad film, which, having pondered a little since, I think is an argument that I could sustain.

Until this afternoon, when I took Dan and Abi to see 'Planes'.

I've always thought Pixar did a great job of entertaining both kids and adults in their films, but I'd never realised before how well-paced and structured their films are. Apart from 'Plane', regrettably.

Still, the kids enjoyed it and I was no more than a little bored.

On the way home, I realised I hadn't taken a photo and I asked Abi for suggestions. She kept spotting rainbows but there was nowhere to pull over and take a shot. However, when we got back to the cottage, we saw this; cows milling about at the end of the rainbow.
