"Baywatch"

This is a view from a resting place called "Baywatch" on the Chippewa reservation - a few km from our cabin. It's on the Niagara Escarpment on the Bruce Peninsula where the views are generally pretty gorgeous. Life on the Reservation involves a certain amount of humour and irony - you have to take the "401" (a local road that is named after the TransCanada highway) and the "Lakeshore" (another local road that is named after a highway in downtown Toronto) - Baywatch is named after the US TV show of the same name . . . It's one of my favourite views to paint.
