Storm damage

Huge wind last night. A night to be very glad we'd removed the very large gingko tree that was leaning towards the house after the quakes - it would have been in the path of the wind and our house might have ended up like these poor people - haven't been sorted since the quakes, and now have a tree through their roof.

It's hard to get out of the street as one end is closed and all dug up, and the other has a tree across it. A kind neighbour cut up one tree so it is possible to get out of the street as no one has come to remove the other tree, which is across the power and phone lines on both sides of the road.
