Camouflaged

These shield beetles are very hard to detect but about this time of the year they appear sometimes in large numbers depending upon the season.
The problem is their larvae laid underneath the leaves and once hatched they bury into the foliage causing a great deal of damage.
Vigilance is the only way to keep them under control.
