After the Gold rush

Just wondering whether it ought not to be entitled "40 shades of green".

I think I mentioned "One of us" has certain dietary restrictions until the end of August. One of us is also a Fishandchipaholic. A wee bit of a problem when one of said restrictions is wheat.

In fact, today's blip which I actually shot, was very nearly a sign which read ...
"Gluten and wheat free FISH AND CHIPS"  ERGO the other of us suggested it as a possible meal for tonight. One tends to get a bit fed up of one's own cooking.

"Gold Rush"? YUP the batter on the fish, which "tasted no different from ordinary batter" ... A definite PLUS after some of my attempts to follow the wheat-free bread recipe and taking out of the oven something which MIGHT just pass as a heavy sponge cake.

The Gaffer the suggested a look up on to "Beacon edge" as a change from hunting Hover Flies.

Remembered, too late, that "Fell Lane" gets you up there too far South for the views so we fetched up out at Pooley Bridge, with more potential Blips than one could shake the time honoured stick at.
