The Kyle

A long road trip to Thurso for some fishing gear and bait. Like we don't have enough. Then another trip to pick up the trusty Landy for off-road adventures.

We made it to Tongue for what we thought was the perfect time with the tide just going out but, after wading out for half a mile across the sand, the tide was on the turn and we managed about ten minutes fishing before being forced back in.

Still, it was fantastic to be fishing the Kyle again and the light was as special as ever.
