Contrasts
Our local weatherman likes to describe the current weather as the "3H's" meaning hazy, hot and humid. Of course, I am inside working most of the day and so avoid the worst of it. Regardless, the weather remains hot and I am thankful that we have working air conditioning at home and work. You will hear no complaints from me -- this weather is much better than the constant rain from earlier in the summer.
This AM, I decided to stop by a bridge to look for a blip subject. I shot numerous different items and decided to use this because I like the combination of the natural leaves and the metal railing. The contrast between the leafy plant and man-made railing struck me. I also like the various colors we see including the reddish/green leaves, red railing and the deep blue of the out-of-focus river in the background.
