Uniformity.....

The Nursery class pegs, bedecked with caps, blazers and straw boaters, book bags and rucksacks!

We are not a grand school, though the uniform may look as if we are. Just a small independent one, and I do think a school uniform speaks of a community and of belonging. And today I have felt I belong in an official capacity, and my small class of individuals have responded well and are beginning to manage a routine and exercise a little more self discipline...and all this makes for happy learners and certainly a happy teacher.
