Richard Whitehead

Sorry this is a rubbish photo but I thought it was quite interesting.

As I drove out of Stratford a convoy was coming the other way with this chap running on blades. I grabbed my camera off the passenger seat and snapped off some pictures from the window as I drove past. There was a van that identified him as Richard Whitehead who is a paralympic gold medallist and running 40 marathons in 40 days, from John O'Groats to Land's end. Jane and I cycled that route 3 years ago and I can tell you it's a heck of a long way.
