Marathon

I did it. 26 miles. Not continuous though - I had to take a break after 4 miles to do 3 hours of that work thing. But that was on my feet, hard, physical work, so I reckon I'm excused.

Oh and I fell off for the second time. It was the heaviest rain I've ever cycled in and the road was like a river - I hit a pot hole I couldn't see and came off. Luckily onto a grass verge, but I've bruised my ribs. While I was trying to lift my not-light-not-a-road-bike off my trapped left leg, I counted 17 cars pass me. Slowly - behind a caravan in a 30mph zone on the outskirts of Coldstream.

Not one stopped. Peasants.
