Still worse

I shouldn't be here seeing this sunrise

Dismal start yesterday got worse on the way home

First 30 minutes delay on my flight from Hamburg back to Amsterdam, then we boarded and sat on the Tarmac for an hour. The crew kindly gave us some food which as all regular flyers know is not a good sign.

Still never mind we eventually took off and settled to snoozing and snacking

Then the Captain announced that the weather had closed in at Amsterdam and the airport had asked him to go in a holding pattern for 30 minutes before landing but he did not have enough fuel left so he had to diver to a nearby safe airport. Yes you've guessed it ...... Hamburg

So a night in a hotel and another very early start today
