Choo choo

I enjoyed having some Joe time this morning whilst Elsa was at school. She seemed happier today and didn't mind me leaving. Joe also had his first 'settling in' session at his new nursery. Elsa came along too, which she enjoyed as she was there last year and everyone knew her.

Apart from that, the main event of the day was a burst water main at the end of our street causing a 'red river' to run down it, collecting by the entrance to the cemetery in a big lake. We spent a good 20 minutes after school watching the workmen trying to clear up big clods of clay, and the diggers filling in a giant hole. (a campervan had been parked there when the road collapsed and had to be winched out). It was better entertainment than cbeebies for the kids!
