I've won a competition. I can't quite believe it.
My poem is on the public metro system in Newcastle, displayed in the train carriages, as part of an initiative to bring poetry to the general public !
I went to have a look today and found it on lots of trains , whizzing its way over the Tyne and back again.
I wrote it about the journey to see my fella.
I have to go to a swanky launch next weekend at the Lit and Phil library in Newcastle and my poem is going to be read out on the streets of the city by members of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Bloody hell eh? Nearly a year to the day that I first put pen to paper.

Im so lucky I could cry. Well, I already have.
