Christmas Thoughts, Anyone?
This morning I had a trip to a nearby specialist in bird food. The Man always keeps a variety of bird food but a neighbour had told him what sort makes sparrows and blackbirds feed from his hand. I had to have some!
I just wish I had some with me this afternoon when I saw this robin! Or the mealworms I keep meaning to put into a jar in the car.
After lunch I had to take The Mother up to the Infirmary to see her consultant again about her swallowing. Another barium swallow is called for. However we made the most of the trip by going to a garden centre to claim this month's free coffees and get a half-price dwarf conifer for the holiday lodge.
The Mother was keen to choose her Christmas cards but I said it was maybe a bit early and she should wait until they had finished putting out the Christmas display they were working on. I think I may have chosen mine though!
As I handed in my voucher for a half price plant, the young man said to the female assistant: "Is a tree a plant?"
When I got home a found I had won a studio session, so excited and delighted ...
.... just one problem ....
.... I have to stand in front of the camera!
