Birthday cards

Day 11 of Heart Freeks september challenge - special

Today would have been my mothers 95th birthday had she still been alive. When we were clearing out her house I came across these birthday cards from her father. They are not dated but I would reckon them to be from about 1925-30. I should imagine she felt a very special young lady to receive such exquiste cards - she must have loved them to have kept them for over 70yrs.
They are now framed and hanging in my dining room to keep them safe for the next generation.
