Pacific Tree Frog

While I was doing the back filling for the pavers this little Pacific Tree Frog was doing is best to stay out of the hot sun in one of our crawl space ventilators right behind the pond.

I moved him to a moist shaded area under one of our arbor vitae shrubs. He gifted me with his photo for my trouble.

Good trade ;-)

Amazing how is coloration makes him appear to be an algae covered stone.
