It was very hot today! It got up to 96 degrees Fahrenheit. When I picked up Miles from school, all of the kids were staying cool inside. As I entered the playroom, Miles yelled "Daddy is here!", and then all of a sudden all of the other kids yelled "Daddy is here!" and started hugging me. It’s always nice to have a room full of people excited to see you.

We went to Nana's house tonight for dinner. She made us spaghetti and meatballs, but Miles refused to call it spaghetti. He insisted that it was macaroni. After dinner we helped Nana move her patio furniture so she could finish staining her deck. While we were out there, Nana and Miles picked some raspberries and blueberries for a snack. This is Miles helping with the harvest.
