Endless summer

After more than two weeks of dry temperatures in the 90's F (mid 30's C), we've moved into several days of very heavy rain. This chap says he's been living out in the open for several years, rain or shine. The bus stop shelter he is taking refuge says "endless summer" but that does not seem to be true. I don't really know how people like this manage to live on the street and remain so good natured; I certainly wouldn't have the requisite coping skills.
