Sing for your supper

Well my blip was sorted for the day when this hungry baby goldfinch appeared on the fence. Was quite pleased with the result seeing as it through the double glazing. Often tempted to cut a hole in the window to poke the camera through or I could sit outside in Richards pop up, camouflage tent .
I'm surprised there are still young about, seems very late so possibly a second brood. The long tailed tits made their first appearance after the summer so it must be getting colder cooling down.

We had a stunning sunset last night with red clouds floating across the sky and the whole of the opposite side of the firth was lit up in a golden light. Not a bad start to today so hopefully it will remain dry so I can get some garden jobs finished :)
