Sorghum

I am running out of things to photograph on this particular bicycle ruote, and this crop caught my attention. Sorghum... Yes, that's what is growing in the field... Same fields as the rapeseed this spring. I was stumped on this plant for while until I figured out what to search for on Google... Apparently used often for fodder and especially poultry. Another interesting usage is for biofuels... so is rapeseed. I am thinking the owner of this land is maximizing his biofuel friendly crops for spring and fall?

Back on the bicycle finally today after a week off. I gave myself a little purposeful rest, but felt it is time to start back at it before too much time passes. slow but easy going, cool enough today for a long sleeve jersey... fall time is on the way!
