Lunch time

With a work trip to Rome to plan today and the weather not very inviting there was not much time or incentive for photography. However, an obliging robin at the birdfeeder provided an instant blip when its appearance coincided with my lunch break. I shot through to the spare room where I can take pictures through the window using a make-shift 'hide' to disguise my presence.
I had at the back of my mind the intention of taking a picture of a feeding bird while there was still some fruit on the tree. I have eaten most of it, so it was now or never! The bright red skins of Discovery apples provide a colourful seasonal aspect.
