Earning her keep

Mini R being put to use as a fruit punnet. Hopefully soon she will be able to get into the back plants and pick them for me.

It's been a long week. I can't believe it has only been a week. 7 days ago R and I were fretting like mad hoping "natural" labour would kick off. It didn't so we had to get induced. As with every birth it didn't go the way we expected, planned, thought or imagined but the end result was what we wanted. Everyone we came across at Ninewells was fantastic, utterly fantastic and we owe them so much. I know it is "just their job" but they did go that extra mile and I believe they cared about everyone, as much as for us.

Now we just need to get on with our lives, all three of us.
