High and dry

I’ve had a good day today but just one little thing has annoyed me. I’ve been waiting for something for over a month now, so phoned up on Tuesday to be told it would be ready yesterday. I explained that I wouldn’t be able to pick it up Wednesday but would sort it Thursday, so I went there today only to be told they were going to be sorting it within the next hour. I didn’t have time to wait so have got to go back tomorrow now, I’m not very happy about it, why lie?

I’m guessing somebody didn’t get their balloons today as well?
