Waiting for lunch!

I transferred my rose bush from a pot into it a space by the fence. I discovered that this bit of ground hadn’t been dug for a long time and at 6 inches down I hit clay!! An “easy job” took ages, but eventually got done. I had no sooner moved away when this little robin did a clear up of the tasty morsels that had been uncovered.

Back to the garage this afternoon to collect my car, you wouldn’t know that it had ever been scratched. Another bit of news is that the lady who did the damage sent me a cheque to cover the repair costs. Once the cheque is credited to my account, I will count my blessings and send her a thank you card.
