MY LITTLE SCULPTURE GARDEN IN WEST DORSET
It was time to trim the hedge that I laid last winter, scythe the undergrowth, and generally check how things were progressing. The 'Screw' living sculpture (far right) got a little tickle with the bill hook and looks quite neat again (reminds me - the beard needs a bit of attention if I get a moment). The scythe is working silent wonders right under my neighbours' noses. AND, the traditional willow strains I planted in the Spring are looking stonking good (centre right) - won't be harvesting them til their leaves fall - could be quite soon. The back hedge might get its trim tomorrow.
Never get tired of that view...
