CJ (who else)

Currently I have two favourite men in my life:

#1: Mr T whose birthday it is today but we are not celebrating this one in such a lavish style as last year when his birthday was one with yet another 0 on the end!! However it is a Birthday tradition to have a weekend at the Duxford Air show, which we did last weekend, but without the big family party I arranged last year. I had to go to work today but T and I met for lunch at the lovely Festival Centre in town. Sadly the weather didn't allow him to fly today to give himself the "bumps" (aerobatics in the glider)!! Since arriving back from work T has had a stream of family and friends bearing cards and gifts (some of them have brought wine) so the beautiful Birthday dinner I prepared earlier is going to be very late!!

#2: CJ. Resident Cob Swan on our canal who I was so pleased to meet up with again today - Haven't seen him or the family for quite a while - He was alone and I spent some time with him talking Swan. I wondered where the family were but caught up with the cygnets a little further up the canal; they are enormous now, still with their grey plumage and honking loudly. Mrs. CJ was having a good preen and I thought was looking a bit fed up with the teenagers !!

Its really late now so I need to get on with the Birthday dinner!!
