FAST FOOD for a NUTHATCH

This nuthatch didn’t stay at the feeder any longer than to pick up just one seed – and away he’d go. Then he’d return a few minutes later for just one more – lots of quick movement. Actually lighting was my big problem today – it was overcast with a glare. My lighting experiment in yesterday’s bright sunshine didn’t do me a bit of good today. The white on this pretty little bird is just a blowout, yet if I set the exposure comp. darker, then the scene was too dark. So frustrating! I had a few other pictures, but nothing any better than this. Then it started raining – so this is it for today. Grrr… (And thanks to 'naturelover2' I now realize this is a nuthatch and not a chickadee!)
