The Thistle

I remember going to The Thistle a long time ago with my parents when they were located in Kearny, NJ.

I discovered that they had moved to Lyndhurst. I was in the Meadowlands area and decided to check it out. Brought back some memories.

The kids of the original owners now run the business since their parents retired. They moved out of Kearny 4 years ago. The Argyle Fish n Chips is still in Kearny along with Stewarts Butcher Shop but that is all that is left of the old Scottish neighborhood.

Pretty decent Fish n Chips for the States but I do miss the ones I ate in the UK a long time ago!
