Silhouette

It was a day of beauty today. My almost 3 year old granddaughter got just about every bit of pampering there is to do. Starting with a bubble bath and continuing with 'make-up' and 'chapped lips'...that is what she calls lip balm and moisture cream. We did hairstyling and had her favorite lunch (sliced ham). When my daughter got home from work, we even went over to the hair salon for a trial visit.
She needs a hair trim but as with anything else new in a toddlers life, it takes some getting used to. I was going to have my hair trimmed today so we figured it was a good opportunity for her to see how much fun it was. She loved it.

The hairdresser has a little boy her age so he was perfect with her. She sat on the chair next to me and watched everything very carefully. It wasn't long before she was in the middle of the salon dancing and singing. No, I'm not kidding! Ha-ha. She didn't want to leave! My daughter has an appointment next and she'll take her back one more time before we attempt bringing her for her first hair trim. A Blip opportunity for sure!
