New Shoes

I don't buy shoes very often because I have horribly big feet, so it's always a bit exciting when I do. These are definitely the first summer shoes I've bought in a long, long time.

I hit the gym again this morning - twice in a week! I'm really pleased about that, even though I'm not doing too much because I don't want to over do it. I spent the rest of the day figuring out my applications for the two photography courses I want to apply for - one at RMIT and one at NMIT. What with everything that's been going on with my health and with uni, I've let this fall by the wayside a bit and I really need to focus for the next two weeks to get it all done.

I went into the city this evening to have a bit of a shop with Mum. We really just went to Myer, but I got my lovely new shoes and we had a mooch through cosmetics and the clothes as well. We had dinner after and had a really good long chat about all sorts of things. Even though I feel so much better now it's a weird adjustment to go from struggling to get through a day to actually being able to do things. I'm still getting used to it! I'm also very behind at uni so it's going to be a tough few weeks to get back on track. Mum had lots of good advice, as usual, and I'm really glad we got to talk properly.

I carried my camera around all evening in the city and forgot to get a photo. Oops! Oh well, you can all just admire my new shoes instead.
