Needing a trim

When I took a footpath across a field this afternoon, the horses that I had been photographing from a distance decided to come and investigate. My long lens only focusses down to 1.2m, so I had trouble when they started to nuzzle the end of the lens! The result was that I got lots of extreme close-ups.

The nasal hair and whiskers on the chin are, I guess, acceptable in a horse.

Flickr is down for maintenance as I write this, but when it is operating again I will upload other photographs taken at the same time.
