I could say this is all I need but I note that there is no camera in the picture.

Have packed and repacked at least 4 times. I'm sure I've got the camera charger but I'm not sure how available power will be.

One thing I am sure of is that internet access will be sporadic at best and I think there will be a lot of back blipping. Commenting may also be intermittent.

I just hope that my pictures of the dunes at Sossusvlei will not have the top chopped off, unlike the picture on the front of this guidebook!

I have decided to rebrand my journal. I was quite surprised that this title was not taken already.
