Mid-week Weekend

I feel like I've had a mid-week weekend this past couple of days. A very good welcome back into the country! Had a BBQ this afternoon with my boyfriend, our neighbours, a few more friends and a friend's baby who's one next week. He provided us with much entertainment :)

In the evening, I went out into the sticks with another couple of friends and we set up camp in a field to watch the meteor shower. Apparently there were eighty an hour last night, so we were disappointed at first but we chilled and chatted and kept looking up and we saw about thirty shooting stars in the end. A nice night :)

I took a pic in the field for a blip, but it turned out to be the early hours of Thursday so I've put this pic up of my veggie kebab instead for Weds. Mmm...
