Rosa 'Sachet'...

I was delighted this morning to see one of my small roses, just a hair larger than a miniature rose, 'Sachet', blooming, a rich deep pink and powerfully fragrant for such a small rose. It is a wonderful time because even though still hot days much less so than a month or so ago. We have very hot, muggy summers here on the coast of North Carolina and most of the roses kind of give up the ghost over the summer but begin to bloom again as it starts to cool off. The trade-off is that we often have roses blooming up until Christmas! But today, the lovely 'Sachet'...
