The Ring o'Brodgar, Stenness

Yet another lovely day for a drive around sightseeing, walking & picnicking! Today we drove to the Brock of Gurness, then the standing stones (Ring o'Brodgar) where we had our picnic overlooking the loch. Then onto Stromness for our obligatory cake & tea at Julies café where we received a phone call from Michael & Mellisa to let us know the result of her 20 week scan.....its a boy! Our second grandson due January 28th...just waiting now for Nicky & Judes scan in early October!

So a trauma free day & looking forward to an indian meal for our supper!
