Kentish View
Better LARGE
Had to be quick today to avoid the rain.... and managed to snap this view before the heavens opened. Fortunately, two local residents turned up to check out my camera settings, so I included them in the shot.
The church in the background is St Thomas a Becket, an Anglican church in the village of Capel, Kent, England which originated in the Norman era.
It is no longer in regular use, but remains much loved.
The church is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust and is open for occasional services.
A closer view (recommended) is available from 8th February.
