The wishing tree

There is a spooky tree in Pollok Park that is a strange twisty shape. Some say it is cursed as most Beech Trees are tall and straight without the spookster spikes. Glass half full people say it is a magical tree (perhaps magic faraway tree for Enid Blyton fans?) and they tie wishes to it.
