Varenna
Today we went over to Varenna for lunch. The restaurant we chose is in the main square above the port. We were fascinated to watch the church across the square being prepared for a wedding. While we were lunching the guests started arriving at the church. Obviously we had to wait for the bride to arrive. She arrived eventually in a white Jeep Renegade with flowers on the bonnet.
With the wedding started and bride in the church we were able to move on. I felt a bit spoilt for choice on the Blip front today, I settled for this picture taken as the ferry pulled away from Varenna. Brilliant sunshine and brilliant colours, this photograph has not been exaggerated in processing. The spire of the church where the wedding took place is evident centre left of the picture.
We had a quiet evening in and no BBQ this evening. The day has been quite a scorcher, the forecast for tomorrow is slightly cooler, 23 degrees. We will see what the weather brings tomorrow.
