Regeneration

Back soon after I first joined Blipfoto I made the mistake of moaning about endless blue skies - the next thing I knew, the heavens opened followed by one of he wettest Summers for sometime! I did manage to get a passable blip of a children's merry-go-round in the rain, with some colourful reflections, in Farnborough precinct.

Since then the precinct has undergone a regeneration, and all the shiny, reflective paving has been replaced by matt grey slabs. It was all supposed to be finished by the end of August, but as the work is ongoing - they are nearly there though and it looks better - though I'm still not sure about the paving.

New shop and apartment buildings have been built at the far end of the precinct, and the paving there is still nice and shiny in the wet, which together with the colourful 'To Let' signs, still provide a Blip opportunity.
