Bug Buffet

All sorts of bugs were congregating on the goldenrod flowers today. They all seemed to be getting along happily, quietly feeding on the flowers. They were sluggish, perhaps because of the cooler weather, and were easier than usual to photograph.

This almost-all-black wasp was one of the most noticeable.
