Letchworth Garden City

Today we ( my sister and her partner and I ) went to Letchworth to say farewell to my cousins husband Allen, and the father of my God Son. I had spent year passing through the edge of Letchworth Britain's first Garden City, when traveling back to visit family as a child, but had never stopped.
Today went as well as can be expected, and the journey back was slow in the heavy traffic (escaping north ) , rain all the way but at least all in daylight!
The above roundabout, flowers and fountain were just outside the church and lead down a long open avenue. The view of the future as seen eighty years ago!
