Emergency stop

I include this holiday snap only because it captures a rare event - my husband asking for directions.

This phenomenon only happens roughly once every decade, and only when conditions are absolutely perfect - ie we have been lost for several hours, we have long ago run out of water and are soon to run out of petrol, it is starting to get dark and we are passing a place we have already driven through several times.
