How about you save the money wasted on events like this with your free giveaway of a ucsd postdoc branded "microfiber" cloth to wipe your glasses/phone/computer or the weird highlighter/lip balm and give postdocs a better wage. Even the free lunch wasn't enough to satisfy my hunger.
