Childhood
I woke up early this morning, zoomed into town to get my hair done and then came home and cleaned and sorted ready for my friends arrival. We went out to lunch and then spent the afternoon walking and talking, catching up on each others news.
I took my camera with me (as a committed blipper) but didn't find anything blip worthy. So this evening I have resorted to opening one of the presents from a pupil in my old school. He gave me a goodie bag of old fashioned sweets with a little note wishing me a lovely holiday. He is dyslexic so had spelt my name wrong. I was touched by his thoughtfulness and have kept the little note as a reminder of him. I remember that I didn't really like the Violets but was rather fond a Fruit Salad chew! The Flying Saucers were always cool and when I was 16 I went through a phrase of eating lots of Refreshers. It's amazing how sweets can bring back memories of childhood and school days.
Time to collapse in front of the telly. I hope you've all had a good Saturday.
