Better than expected

The forecasters were a day ahead of themselves it seems as after a wet night it brightened up today. I thought I'd best take advantage of it and have managed to get two loads of washing dry, pot up the violas that I bought earlier in the week and cut the grass. Much more productive than predicted - including being wide awake from about five, cleaning the kitchen at six but then back to bed to finish my book with a cup of tea... and a bit more sleep. Tomorrow is due to be wet (allegedly) but with marking and planning to do I won't really be needing sunshine.
