Old meets new

So as you can see the trip to Keswick was abandoned in favour of a trip to see Alan Bennett's new play People (which was excellent) and a night out in Birmingham. We have been ejected from the house on the occasion of a teen gathering - fingers crossed I have a house to go back to. This is a shot of Gas Street Basin, part of central Birmingham's canal network - once derelict and now gentrified to within an inch of its life - hen and stag parties excepted!
