Spinnaker Tower

Portsmouth - the UK's only island city! Now home to youngest son for the next 3 years while he is a student there . Took him down today . Busy there, lots of parents and teenage children ferrying bags of all shapes and sizes from cars to student housing. After we had unpacked, made his bed, said "hello" to the others who were sharing his flat, we headed to Gunwharf Keys for a spot of lunch . Looking around while we ate, we noticed several other tables had parents and new students having lunch together before heading their separate ways. I wondered how far some of the had travelled, how they were feeling, apprehensive on both sides, excitement on the students' side. I hope they all have a fabulous time at Uni.
